I love handmade items! I know that when I make something, I take my time and pour on the love when making it! I love everything that I bought from other artists on Etsy. It is a joy to finally find the largest art faire in my own living room! The artists gladly speak with you about their creations and find it is a friendly non-competitive nature, actually more nourishing to each other! You definitely can tell when someone loves what they do…it is clearly reflected in their items. I would be happy if anyone clicked on my feedback to see where I purchased from, I highly recommend any and ALL of them! Thanks for letting me speak! Lindageez
Hand made is better than store-bought any day!
When I make something, I put a little bit of me and give the piece personality. You’re not buying a “thing”, you’re buying a piece of someone’s talent. It also means that you took the time to figure out somebody’s likes, tastes and feelings. I was just a kid when my brother and sister would tease me about always “making” my gifts, making me look cheap. Now hey ask me for decor! ha ha ha
Please help to change synthetic world. We must investigate the pleasure of handmade items in every aspect of the life.
Buying Handmade to me means buying something that special in many ways. Handmade items are made with love and care by that special person who made the item. By supporting local crafters and artists is supporting the Handmade Movement!!!!

So many reasons so little space - handmade is unique and authentic just like you, it was made with care and love not churned out on mass for a fat profit, no exploitation involved, environmentally friendly and as an added bonus you get to support someone’s dream of being creative and independent.
